The Federal Tax Authority (FTA) has announced an extension for Q4 2023 VAT return submissions, providing welcome relief to businesses during the busy year-end period.
## New Deadlines

## Who This Affects
This extension applies to:
- All VAT-registered businesses in the UAE
- Tax periods ending December 31, 2023
- Both monthly and quarterly filers
## Important Notes
- No application required - extension applies automatically
- Payment deadline also extended to February 15, 2024
- Late filing penalties will apply after the extended deadline
- Voluntary early filing is still accepted
